Koi House Press is a small press, and we’d rather say so plainly than leave a form open and let manuscripts sit unread. Right now our capacity is committed to the authors and titles already on our list.
This is a pause, not a policy. When we open, we’ll say exactly what we’re looking for, exactly what a hybrid arrangement with us covers, and exactly what it costs — no fine print surprises. Until we can do that properly, the door stays shut.
